The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in power within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and presented the initial group of characters who will branch out from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might appear out of place, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the team understands precisely where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his debts and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as important members in House Halovar could enable the group reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the powers that govern the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the powerful family and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Fans can look forward to learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on the upcoming Thursday.
